| ORANGE COUNTY IMC BREAKFAST MEETING - April 10, 2008
How to Use Value Creation to Sell Your Consulting Services
With Bill Mooney, Director, Center for Consulting & Professional Practices |
|
Your Unique Selling Proposition is last year's concept.
Your Value Creation Proposition is this year's concept and is more powerful.
Don't miss our April 10 Orange County IMC Breakfast, when Bill Mooney, Consultant to Consultants, will share techniques that allow consultants to identify and measure the value they create for clients, and then use this value to market, sell and price their consulting services. By identifying and understanding the value they bring to clients, consultants can think differently about their own practice and enhance their value to clients.
Expect Bill's presentation to be comprehensive, to reflect the latest research findings about value creation by consultants, and to be illustrated with practical examples. Also expect a bibliography of key books on the subject. You will learn to:
- Mine your past work for data that will show the value you have created for clients.
- Describe your vision of project success in terms of value to the client.
- Work value creation into your proposals and presentations to sell engagements.
- Monitor progress of your engagements in terms of value and report that to clients.
- Use value creation to attract clients and referrals.
- Use value creation to command higher fees.
Don't miss this eye-opening presentation on April 10 from Southern California's Dean to Consultants. This will not only be a great learning experience, but also an opportunity for you to network with consultants and other self-employed professionals in the Greater Orange County area.
