| About Bill Mooney, President, Center for Consulting & Professional Practices |
Bill Mooney is a consultant coach who has helped hundreds of consultants in Southern California position their practice for profitability and success. For the last 17 years, under the sponsorship of his Center for Consulting & Professional Practices, he has presented his one-day seminar, "How to Build & Maintain a Successful Consulting Practice" as well as other seminars related to the consulting profession. He has published many articles on consulting topics and has presented hundreds of consulting related speeches to professional, trade, business, career and educational organizations. He is an active member of the Institute of Management Consultants, Association of Professional Consultants, National Bureau of Certified Consultants, American Society for Training & Development, Society for Human Resource Management, as well as other professional organizations. He holds an undergraduate degree in physics from UC Berkeley and graduate degrees in education and organic chemistry from Stanford University. He is a former Professor of Chemistry and Dean of Physical Sciences at El Camino College .
