ORANGE COUNTY IMC BREAKFAST MEETING - September 1, 2005

A Participatory Event:

Practical Strategies to Developing Your Consulting Practice

Two heads are better than one, and the heads of many consultants can be even better! On Thursday, September 1, Tom Northup will be leading us in a process to share information about how we can develop more business for our own firm. We will explore questions such as:

·         What strategies have been personally effective get clients?

·         How do we overcome procrastination that bogs down our marketing?

·         How can we break out of ingrained behavior patterns?

·         What are strategies to boost the profitability of our practice?

We will break into small groups of six to eight consultants. Each group will be facilitated. At the conclusion of the meeting, each group will have the opportunity to share 2 to 3 "Killer Ideas."

This is a participatory, not a passive listen & learn event. Please come prepared to share as well as to gain new ideas. All of us are doing some things well as "Practice Builders," so please bring your questions, ideas and expertise. Let's share what has worked and what has not!

You will deepen the relationships you have with the other consultants present whether you are new to consulting or are an old pro. So join us on September 1, as we put our heads together and share with each other. Together we can "Get Smart, Get Known and Get Business!"
