Dale DeHart, founder and President of SOHO Prospecting will speak on the topic of Search Engine Marketing for consultants and individual professionals. An attendee's site will be selected for discussion of optimization techniques and the process will be discussed and detailed during the session. Attendees will benefit from seeing the important steps that are taken to develop code and content for a consultant's Web site. Attendees will benefit by learning the most cutting edge methods of gaining visibility on the Internet for their practices.

  
About Dale DeHart, President SOHO Prospecting
Dale DeHart is the President and founder of SOHO Prospecting , a Camarillo-based marketing company that provides owners of small- and medium-sized independent businesses with the strategy and services they need to compete. Previously an executive with several high-technology businesses, Dale has had a long career as a technical manager with Hewlett Packard, TRW, Ticor, Motorola, and Emulex, and most recently in the Internet Business Consulting area with SOHO Prospecting, a division of DeHart Consulting, LLC.

Dale received a B. S. in Electronics Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, and a Masters in Electronics Engineering from Stanford University. Dale also earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from UCLA.

Afternoon Workshop

Will emphasize a proactive approach to marketing and provide opportunities for participants to share their experiences. In the first half of this one hour interactive session, a leading marketing and communications professional will provide a "blueprint" for consultants to create and develop their own marketing plan as well as present a list of "tried and true" options for actions to take to market and promote a consulting practice. The second half will feature an open forum for those in attendance to share what strategies and actions they have found to be successful to enhance their practices.

About Robert Fisher, Public Relations, Marketing and Communications Consultant

Robert J. Fisher, a veteran public relations executive, counselor and consultant with four decades of experience in the fields of public relations, marketing, communications and advertising, is President of Fisher & Associates, Inc. (F&A), a Los Angeles area based public relations and communications firm which has served a broad range of businesses and industries on local, national and international levels for the past three decades.

A noted author and lecturer, Mr. Fisher is recognized for its expertise in crisis communications and image development/repair counseling as he has had extensive experience in representing controversial people/businesses. The firm has won numerous awards for its work in these areas.
Due to his expertise in these areas, he is often utilized by the media as an expert information source and analyst. He has also provided services as an expert witness in litigation.

Prior to founding F&A in 1978), Mr. Fisher has worked for three of the world’s largest public relations firms – Burson-Marsteller, Inc., Harshe, Rotman & Druck, Inc. and Doremus & Company, Inc. Among his other professional positions, he was: a reporter with the New York Times; Public Relations Director of Los Angeles Beautiful, Inc. and Promotion Director of the Atlantic Richfield Plaza Shopping Center in downtown Los Angeles.
