In this month's meeting we will have two speakers provide valuable information about how consultants should and can use technology to make their consulting practice and their clients more productive.

Afternoon Workshop, 4.30 - 5.30 PM:

The afternoon subject is an interactive technology roundtable, “Technology Choices for Your Practice.” Attend this workshop with Prem Sundaram to learn about the technologies that are right for your consulting practice.

Evening Presentation, 6.00 - 8.30 PM:

In the evening presentation, Dr. Tony Karrer presents “Web 2.0 for Service Professionals: How to Reach Prospects and Better Serve Clients through Blogging, Social Networking, MicroBlogging, RSS and Social Bookmarking”

Over the past 20 years, we’ve seen an explosion of information sources, greatly increased accessibility of experts and expertise, and constantly emerging tools. Together this has transformed the landscape for consultants and service professionals. Many of us don’t understand the modern technology tools under the “Web 2.0” label, let alone know how to use them.

In this talk, Dr. Tony Karrer will describe this radical, technological transformation and his experience with the changes and benefits it has brought to his services business. He will give you an “over-the-shoulder” look at a how and why a modern services professional uses web 2.0 tools such as blogging, social networking (LinkedIn), RSS, microblogging (Twitter), social bookmarking (delicious) and others. Tony will be able to provide you with specific actions you can take to better reach prospects and serve clients.
